Honey & Gold gets excited about Periods!

I’ve always known Honey & Gold was meant to be bigger than me, bigger than you, bigger than memory verses.
Today I’m excited to share that…we’re going global! Through a partnership with Days for Girls, Honey & Gold will help provide clean & practical feminine hygiene to girls all around the world.
I never thought I’d say that periods were exciting, but…this is exciting! : )

A percentage of every purchase from Honey & Gold goes directly to Days for Girls here in Australia. Days for Girls is a global organisation providing unique ‘period packs’ for girls and women in developing countries. Local volunteers make the sustainable feminine hygiene kits, then Mission teams and organisations in the receiving countries distribute the kits which last for three years!  A percentage of every purchase from Honey & Gold goes directly to Days for Girls here in Australia. 

I have lived in Uganda, and seen lots of need, but watching this video of the kits being given out brought tears to my eyes. What a practical & simple gift that has such huge ramifications to one girls life. With one kit, girls can stay in school. They remain in community. They stay healthy and safe. 

I don’t know about you, but having clean and convenient feminine hygiene is something I would say I take for granted. But through your purchase from Honey & Gold, and your direct support, Days for Girls can bring dignity to girls who so desperately need it.
